This past
Saturday the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company celebrated its 95th
Anniversary of Installation of Officers. Master of Ceremonies
Ronald G. Decarli gave an incredibly inspiring speech to launch
everything off. Dinner was then served at seven catered by Ilio
Dipaolo’s Restaurant. After Dinner concluded installation of the
new offices began.
The new
Administrative Officers for 2008 are Patrick McAnaney as
President, Ernest J. Jewett as Vice President, Charles Zahm Jr.
as Secretary, Tara Bosinski as Assistant Secretary, Richard
Mardino as Treasurer, and Kevin Jewett as Sergeant at Arms.
The new
Firematic Officers for 2008 are John Kolb as Chief, John
Niedermeier Jr. as 1st Assistant Chief, Brian Donahue as 2nd
Assistant Chief, Donald Baxter Jr. as Captain, Jacob Gibbons as
Junior Captain, Chris Kolb as Lieutenant, Jeff Luke as Junior
Lieutenant and EMS Captain, and Tara Bosinski as EMS Lieutenant.
The Trustees
for 2008 are Michael Weller as Head Trustee and Brian Donahue,
Ernest J. Jewett, John and Otto Niedermeier, and Mark Warsaw.
The Service
Award Directors for 2008 are John Pavlovich, Jeff Luke, and Otto
Niedermeier.
Special thanks
to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest J. Jewett, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McAnaney,
Mr. and Mrs. John Niedermeier Jr, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Scarsella,
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Weller for putting in a lot of time and
work to pull off a spectacular Installation Dinner.
